Two NWU Women Named All-GPAC in Golf

Nebraska Wesleyan had two women’s golfers named to the 2010-11 GPAC Women’s Golf All-Conference Team that was announced on Thursday (May 12). Senior Kiley Miller was named All-Conference, while junior Sarah Hotovy was honorable mention All-GPAC.

Miller (Tecumseh, Neb.) tied for 11th at the four round GPAC Championships to lead all Nebraska Wesleyan women’s golfers. She played as NWU’s No. 1 golfer for the majority of the season earning her third letter in golf for the Prairie Wolves. Miller had a season stroke average of 92.2 and had three top 10 finishes.

Hotovy (York, Neb.) was named honorable mention All-GPAC for NWU to receive her first All-Conference honor. Hotovy tied for 15th at the GPAC Championships for her highest conference place in three seasons. She had a season stroke average of 93.2.

As a team Nebraska Wesleyan placed sixth at the 2010-11 GPAC Championship, just three strokes behind the fifth place team.

Dani Bellet from Dakota Wesleyan was the GPAC Women’s Golfer of the Year after winning the GPAC title. Adam Anderson from Dakota Wesleyan and Warren Kuhl from Midland were the GPAC Co-Coaches of the Year.
