Women's Golfers Enjoy Spring Trip To Florida

Nebraska Wesleyan University women's golfers spent their spring break with a team trip to Florida. Not only did the Prairie Wolves compete in a dual against Webber International University, but they were able to experience a PGA golf tournament.

NWU played a dual against Webber Int'l on March 23 at Lake Wales Country Club in Lake Wales, Florida. Sarah Hotovy led the Prairie Wolves with a score of 93 to finish fourth. Brittney Dinkel had a round of 94, while Sarah Johnson was just behind with a score of 96.

Mikaela Lyander won the dual for Webber Int'l with a great score of 73.

Besides the golf dual, the Prairie Wolves also attended a practice round and the Pro-Am of the Arnold Palmer Invitational that was played at the Bay Hill Club in Orlando, Florida. NWU women's golfers were able to get up close to several PGA players including stars Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler.
