2011: Competed in three different varsity races as a junior … was the sixth NWU women’s runner to finish at the Tori Neubauer Invitational … placed 182nd overall in the 6k race … also ran at the Woody Greeno Invitational and the Paul Short Invitational … was a USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete … earned a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete award for second straight season.

2010: Earned her second varsity letter as a sophomore … ran in four races on the year … competed at her first GPAC Championships and placed 47th overall … had a career-best time of 23:58.5 at the Tori Neubauer Invitational on the 6K course … was a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2009: In her first season of cross country Sarah ran in two varsity races … began her collegiate career at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational running a time of 32:17 on the 6K course.

Academic: Mathematics major.

In High School: Was a two-year letterwinner in cross country at Schuyler Central … placed in the top 15 at the conference meet as a senior … also named Academic All-Conference.

Personal: Born 7/26/91 … daughter of Tom and Rogene Wheeldon.
