NWU Womens Cross Country

Nebraska Wesleyan was represented well at the 2011 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 18) at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis. The NWU women were 18th in the team standings while the men finished 21st as a team.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's cross country team won the NCAA III Central Region Championship on Saturday (Nov. 12) to advance to the NCAA III Cross Country Championships for the 15th consecutive season.

Nebraska Wesleyan dominated the 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference teams. Hannah Kinberg was named the 2011 Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year to headline the women’s team, while NWU co-coaches Ted Bulling and Ann Ringlein were the Women’s Coaches-of-the-Year. Five NWU women were All-GPAC, while eight Prairie Wolves were All-GPAC on the men’s side.
