NWU Women's Basketball Announces 12 Recruits

June 8, 2011

Nebraska Wesleyan University head women’s basketball coach Eric Jensen has released the names of 12 recruits who are planning to attend NWU and intend to play women’s basketball for the Prairie Wolves in 2011-12.

The group of recruits includes 10 players from Nebraska and two from the state of Colorado. Two players received Lincoln Journal Star All-City recognition and six of the recruits were named to their respective All-Conference teams.

“We are very happy with this season’s recruiting class,” said Jensen who is entering his fourth season at NWU. “These players all fit into our plan of continuing to take the Prairie Wolves women’s basketball program to the next level.”

The NWU women finished the 2010-11 season with an 11-16 overall record, which was the highest win total for the Prairie Wolves in ten seasons.
