For the third consecutive season the Nebraska Wesleyan University women's basketball program will host a Pink Zone Night as part of the WBCA Pink Zone initiative. The event will take place on Wednesday (Feb. 9) when Nebraska Wesleyan hosts Midland University.
NWU will be wearing pink uniforms when they take the court against the Warriors on Wednesday night. Tip-off will be at 6 pm in Snyder Arena. It will also be Senior Night for NWU as the Prairie Wolves will honor its two seniors, Katy Golden and Sadie Struebing before the game.
As part of the Pink Zone Night, the first 150 fans will receive a free Pink Zone T-shirt. At halftime of the game a live auction will be conducted with all proceeds going towards the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Nebraska Wesleyan has won two straight games, and four of their last six to improve to 9-12 overall and 5-9 in the GPAC to sit in a tie for seventh place in the GPAC standings.
