The Nebraska Wesleyan University women's basketball team will host the 2010 NWU Tip-Off Tournament this weekend at Snyder Arena to open the 2010-11 home basketball schedule. The two-day tournament will begin with two games on Friday night (Nov. 19) followed by the consolation and championship games on Saturday afternoon.

Joining the Prairie Wolves in the tournament field will be Central College, St. Catherine's University and Martin Luther College. Play will begin on Friday night with Central taking on St. Catherine's at 6 p.m. NWU plays Martin Luther at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday's action will start at 2 p.m. for the consolation game, followed by the championship game at 4 p.m.

Nebraska Wesleyan opened the 2010-11 season with a 81-74 win at Buena Vista on Tuesday night to start the season 1-0. Martin Luther College and Central College also both won their opening games to enter the tournament at 1-0. It will be the season opener for St. Catherine's.
