November 15

Four players on the Nebraska Wesleyan University volleyball team were named to the 2012 Great Plains Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Conference team that was announced Thursday (Nov. 15). Junior Mackenzie Hite and sophomore Katelyn Walsh were both Second-Team All-GPAC selections, while sophomore Karny Kuehl and senior Hannah Softley were honorable mention.

November 13

Nebraska Wesleyan University junior volleyball player Mackenzie Hite has been named a 2012 AVCA Division III All-America honorable mention selection. She becomes the eighth NWU volleyball player to earn AVCA All-America honors.

November 9

Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball placed four players on the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) All-Independent volleyball team that was recently announced. Four NWU players were named to the All-AD3I teams with Mackenzie Hite and Katelyn Walsh named to AD3I First-Team, Karny Kuehl was selected to the Second-Team and Hannah Softley was honorable mention. In addition, Mackenzie Hite was named the AD3I Volleyball Player-of-the-Year.

November 8

Nebraska Wesleyan junior volleyball player Mackenzie Hite was named to the 2012 AVCA/Division III Central Region 1st-Team All-Region Team when the honors were announced (Nov. 8). Hite was one of 14 players selected to the All-Region Team.

November 3

Hannah Softley made her last kill in a Nebraska Wesleyan uniform a memorable one as she pounded out the game-winning point to give the Prairie Wolves a 3-1 victory over Dordt in the 2012 volleyball season finale on Saturday (Nov. 3) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

November 1

Nebraska Wesleyan stood toe-to-toe with No. 22 Midland all night long but the Warriors came had just enough in the fifth set to hold on for a 3-2 victory over the Prairie Wolves in GPAC volleyball action on Thursday night (Nov. 1) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln. Midland won in scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-22, 22-25, 15-12.

October 30

19th-ranked Doane College made quick work of Nebraska Wesleyan on Tuesday night (Oct. 30) as the Tigers swept past the Prairie Wolves, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action at the Haddix Center in Crete, Neb.

October 27

Nebraska Wesleyan looked as if they would have an easy time at Briar Cliff as they breezed to a first set victory but the Chargers responded and eventually pulled out a 3-2 victory on Saturday night (Oct. 27) in Sioux City, Iowa to avenge an earlier loss to the Prairie Wolves.

October 24

6th-ranked Hastings College remained unbeaten in conference play and on top of the Great Plains Athletic Conference standings as the Broncos defeated Nebraska Wesleyan, 3-0, in volleyball action on Wednesday night (Oct. 24) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

October 20

Morningside College came in to Snyder Arena and spoiled the Prairie Wolves Dig Pink match as the Mustangs swept past NWU in three sets, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action on homecoming Saturday (Oct. 20) in Lincoln.

October 19

Nebraska Wesleyan extended its winning streak to three matches as the Prairie Wolves swept past Dakota Wesleyan University, 3-0, on Friday night (Oct. 19)at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

October 16

Nebraska Wesleyan narrowly escaped with a 3-2 victory over Concordia University on Tuesday night (Oct. 17) in GPAC volleyball action at the Walz Complex in Seward, Neb. NWU won in scores of 25-14, 22-25, 19-25, 25-19, 15-13.

October 13

The Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball team ended another long losing streak for the second consecutive home match as the Prairie Wolves swept past Northwestern College, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball on Saturday (Oct. 13) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln. NWU won in scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-17.

October 6

In its final NCAA Division III competition of the 2012 season, the Nebraska Wesleyan University volleyball team went 1-3 at the Wartburg Knights Classic held Oct. 5-6 in Waverly, Iowa.

October 2

Nebraska Wesleyan recorded their biggest victory in the Coach Rayna Cain era on Tuesday night as the Prairie Wolves defeated rival Doane College, 3-1, in GPAC volleyball action. The win snapped a 20-game losing streak for NWU against Doane as it was the first time the Prairie Wolves have defeated the 14th-ranked Tigers in volleyball since 2001.

September 29

Nebraska Wesleyan got back to .500 on Saturday (Sept. 29) as they swept past Mount Marty College, 3-0, in a GPAC volleyball match played at Cimpl Arena in Yankton, S.D.

September 26

21st-ranked Midland University pounded out 42 kills, while Nebraska Wesleyan had 23 hitting errors as the Warriors swept past the Prairie Wolves, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action on Wednesday night (Sept. 26) in Fremont.

September 22

Nebraska Wesleyan had a match point opportunity but three straight kills from Dordt College gave the Defenders a 16-14 fifth set victory and the 3-2 victory over the Prairie Wolves in a thrilling GPAC volleyball match on Saturday (Sept. 22) in Sioux Center, Iowa.

September 21

Nebraska Wesleyan got its first conference win of the season as they swept past Briar Cliff University, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action on Friday night (Sept. 21) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln. NWU won in scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

September 18

Concordia University came out swinging and took it to Nebraska Wesleyan early then held on to defeat the Prairie Wolves in four sets, 3-1, to spoil the volleyball home opener for NWU on Tuesday (Sept. 18) in Snyder Arena.
