Dig Pink

The Nebraska Wesleyan University volleyball team completed their 2009 regular season, and they now are awaiting the announcement of the NCAA Division IIII National Tournament selection to see if they receive an invitation to their sixth straight tournament.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University volleyball team fell to No. 22 in this week’s AVCA/Division III Coaches Top 25 poll that was released on Tuesday (Nov. 3).  The Prairie Wolves were ranked No. 20 for the past two weeks.

Nebraska Wesleyan gave the large pink clad home crowd something to cheer about early as they won the first set, but Briar Cliff ruined the Prairie Wolves Dig Pink Event as they rallied to defeat NWU, 3-1, in Great Plains Athletic Conference volleyball play Saturday afternoon (Oct. 31) in Snyder Arena.  The Charges won the match in scores of 15-25, 25-14, 27-25, 25-16.
