Tennis Blanks Doane To Remain Perfect

Lincoln, Neb. – Both the Nebraska Wesleyan men and women tennis teams picked up 9-0 victories over Doane College on Tuesday afternoon (Apr. 15) at Woods Park. The victories move both teams to perfect 4-0 records in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

The NWU men improve to 11-5 overall and 4-0 in the GPAC. In the four conference matches, the NWU men have won 9-0 in all four matches. They have shut out all four conference opponents.

The NWU women improve to 10-6 overall and 4-0 in the GPAC. The Prairie Wolves have blanked three of their four GPAC opponents. The only GPAC opponent to score a point on NWU was Hastings College as they lost, 7-2, to NWU.

Both Nebraska Wesleyan tennis teams will travel to Omaha, Neb., on Saturday (Apr. 19) to face Creighton University. The match will start at 12:30 pm.
