Kingery wins 100th career game at NWU

Head Coach Lance Kingery recorded his 100th career coaching victory for the Prairie Wolves on April 3 as the softball team swept Dordt College 10-2 and 9-0. Nebraska Wesleyan has now won seven games in a row, improving to 10-4 overall (7-3 GPAC).

Sophomore Kelsey Worley went 5-for-7 at the plate to improve her season batting average to .500 (22-for-44). In game one, she was 4-for-4 with a double, triple and 3 RBI. Both Worley and Klancy Nixon, who went 4-for-6 against the Defenders, scored four runs apiece in the twin bill.

First-year pitcher Ashley Wagner tossed a three-hitter in the night cap, improving to 6-0 on the mound this season and racking up her fourth shutout. In their last six games combined, the Prairie Wolves have outscored their opponents 50-3.
