Nebraska Wesleyan University Director of Track & Field Ted Bulling has released the names of 31 recruits who plan to compete in track and field while attending NWU in 2013-14.  The group includes 21 male and 10 female athletes.

May 20

Nebraska Wesleyan University will have five athletes competing in five events at the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships that will be held on May 23-25 at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin.  Four women and one men’s athlete have qualified for the track & field championships for the Prairie Wolves.

Nebraska Wesleyan won four individual conference titles at the 2013 GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships that were held May 3-4 in Seward, Neb.  As a team the Prairie Wolves men placed fifth, while the NWU women took sixth.

April 24

Nebraska Wesleyan University track & field athletes Taylor Tacha and Johnny Rutford were both selected to receive a $7,500 postgraduate scholarship from the NCAA for the winter 2012-13 sports season.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University track & field teams strutted their stuff on their home track as both the men and women easily won the team titles at the 2013 Prairie Wolf Invite that was held Saturday (Apr. 20) at the Woody Greeno Track on the NWU campus.

Nebraska Wesleyan won four events on the women's side and four events on the men's side but Doane College took home the team race as old rivals NWU and Doane met in a track & field dual on Friday (Apr. 5) in Crete, Neb.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University Track & Field teams enjoyed good weather at their outdoor season debut in Hastings, Nebraska on March 29th.

Tommie Bardsley jumped a career-best 6'11 to finish in third place in the men's high jump at the 2013 NCAA III Indoor Track & Field Championships that were held Mar. 8-9 at North Central University in Naperville, Ill.

March 4

Nebraska Wesleyan University will have three athletes competing at the 2013 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships that will be held on March 8-9 at North Central College in Naperville, Ill. Two women and one men’s athlete have qualified for the track & field championships for the Prairie Wolves at the Al B. Carius Track in Naperville.

The Nebraska Wesleyan University men placed fifth and the women took sixth at the 2013 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships that were held on Saturday (Feb. 16) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb.

February 10

The Nebraska Wesleyan women's track & field team had five individual winners as the Prairie Wolves scored 105 team points to edge Wartburg College by three points for the team title at the Darren Young Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 9) at Grinnell College. The NWU men placed sixth as a team.

February 2

Both the Nebraska Wesleyan women's and men's track & field teams won the team title at the 2013 NWU Quad Indoor Track & Field Meet that was held on Saturday (Feb. 2) at Knight Fieldhouse on the NWU campus. Competing teams were NWU, Wayne State, McPherson, Sterling and St. Mary (Kan.).

It was the Nebraska Wesleyan University sprinters that led the way for the Prairie Wolves at the 2012 Prairie Wolf Indoor Invite on Friday (Jan. 18) at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan University, in conjunction with the Lincoln Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, has been selected to host the 2014 NCAA III Indoor Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Championships, the NCAA announced Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. The event will take place March 14-15, 2014 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Neb.
