The Nebraska Wesleyan University men's and women's track teams will open their 2010 Indoor Season this weekend when they compete at the Holiday Inn Invitational at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Events are slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Friday and at Noon on Saturday. LIVE RESULTS
NWU will have several athletes competing on both days of the Holiday Inn Invite. The Prairie Wolves return 52 lettermen on the men's team and 29 letterwinners on the women's team.
Head Coach Dr. Ted Bulling, a six-time National Coach of the Year, is back to lead the Prairie Wolves track & field teams. Bulling has coached 38 National Champions and 128 of his athletes have earned a total of 573 All-American Awards.
Three All-Americans are back for the NWU men's team, while on the women's team three athletes return who qualified for the NCAA III National Championships last season.
Following the Holiday Inn Invite this weekend, NWU will be competing next weekend as they host the NWU Indoor Invitational. The NWU Invitational will be held on Jan. 22 at both Knight Fieldhouse and the Bob Devaney Center.
