Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s track & field teams were ranked in the preseason NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field poll that was compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The NWU women are ranked No. 9, while the Prairie Wolves men are No. 12.

This was the first week of the national rankings for Outdoor Track & Field at the NCAA III level.

Nebraska Wesleyan will open the outdoor portion of their 2012 schedule this weekend when the Prairie Wolves travel to Hastings, Neb., to take part in the Hastings College Invitational.
