NWU Men Stay 7th in Indoor Track & Field Poll

The Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s track team remained at No. 7 in this week’s USTFCCCA NCAA Division III National Team Rankings that were released on Wednesday (Mar. 2). The Nebraska Wesleyan women’s track & field team fell five spots to No. 23 this week.

The Prairie Wolves total 72.73 points in the national team computer rankings on the men’s side. For the Nebraska Wesleyan women, they have 36.84 team points to fall down to 21st.

In the regional rankings, the Nebraska Wesleyan men are ranked first in the Central Region for the sixth straight week and the Prairie Wolves women are ranked second behind Wartburg College in the Central Region.

North Central (Ill.) is ranked No. 1 in the men’s poll, while Wartburg is No. 1 in the women’s top 25. This was the sixth week of the regional and national rankings for Indoor Track & Field.

Nebraska Wesleyan will have their final tune-up before nationals this weekend when they travel to Ames, Iowa for the Iowa State Cyclone qualifier meet.

The NCAA III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held March 11-12 in Columbus, Ohio.
