Both the Nebraska Wesleyan men’s and women’s track & field teams were ranked in the Top 25 when the first U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country (USTFCCCA)/ NCAA Division III National Team rankings were released on Wednesday (Jan. 26). The NWU women are ranked No. 22 in NCAA III, while the men are ranked No. 23.
In the regional rankings, the Nebraska Wesleyan men are ranked first in the Central Region and the Prairie Wolves women are ranked second behind Wartburg College in the Central Region.
This was the first week of the regional and national rankings for Indoor Track & Field.
Nebraska Wesleyan is in its third week of competition for the 2011 season. This weekend the Prairie Wolves track & field teams will be headed to Seward, Neb., to take part in the Concordia Invitational.
