2012: Moved up to No. 2 singles as a junior … played all 20 matches at No. 2 singles for the Prairie Wolves … also played No. 2 in doubles play … finished 5-15 in singles action … was 3-3 in GPAC singles play … won his singles match against Concordia in the GPAC Tournament … was 3-17 overall in doubles action … two of his wins were against GPAC opponents … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2011: Earned All-Conference recognition by being named All-GPAC at No. 5 singles … was 4-2 in GPAC singles play … won his only GPAC doubles match of the season with Mike Larsen at No. 2 doubles … after dropping nine of his first eleven matches recovered by winning six of final eight singles matches … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2010: Played No. 4 singles to earn a varsity letter in his first season … went 4-3 in GPAC singles play to earn honorable mention All-GPAC … finished 7-13 overall in singles play … competed in doubles action in three matches, including going 1-1 at the GPAC Tournament … partnered with Drew Placek to win the No. 2 doubles match over Doane at the Tournament.

Academic: Special Education/Elementary Education major.

In High School: A four-year letterwinner in tennis at Adams Central … was the Class B State Champion at No. 2 singles at the 2008 State Tournament … broke five high school singles records for season and career wins … a two-time Academic All-State selection … also earned three letters in basketball and four in track & field.

Personal: Born 8/18/90, son of David and Teresa Barrett … also was a student assistant for NWU volleyball team for past two seasons … father played basketball at NWU.
