Tennis Rolls Past Midland Lutheran College

The Nebraska Wesleyan University tennis teams made quick work of Midland Lutheran College in the Great Plains Athletic Conference season opener as both the men and women both shutout the Warriors, 9-0, on Wednesday in Fremont, Neb.

The NWU men improve to 5-5 overall and 1-0 in the GPAC, while the Prairie Wolf women move to 3-7 overall and 1-0 in GPAC.

All 18 matches of the dual were won by Nebraska Wesleyan with every singles match going just two sets.

The men did not allow a Warrior to score more than two in any singles match, while only one Midland Lutheran woman scored over two points in singles action.

Nebraska Wesleyan women are scheduled to play a pair of matches this Saturday in North Newton, Kan. The Prairie Wolves will play Southern Nazarene University and Bethel College.
