The Nebraska Wesleyan University tennis teams had their second straight shutout victory during the Great Plains Athletic Conference season as the Prairie Wolves blanked Doane College, 9-0, in both the men's and women's tennis duals.
The NWU men improve to 6-5 overall and 2-0 in the GPAC. The Prairie Wolves did not lose a game during the dual against Doane. It was the second straight GPAC match that the Prairie Wolves did not lose a game.
For the Prairie Wolf women, NWU won seven games and won by default in two of the games. Doane did not compete at No. 3 doubles and No. 1 singles. The Nebraska Wesleyan women improve to 4-7 overall and 2-0 in the GPAC
The dual against Doane was moved indoors to Knight Fieldhouse due to rainy conditions.
The next match for the Nebraska Wesleyan tennis teams will be April 17 when they host Creighton University.
