Nebraska Wesleyan University had two women’s tennis players named to the 2013 CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Women’s At-Large Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.  NWU also placed one men’s tennis player on the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Men’s At-Large Team.

Nebraska Wesleyan had three players named to the 2013 Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s tennis All-Conference team.  Trevor Milburn, Ryan McCarty and Seth Shimerda were each All-GPAC in singles action.

Nebraska Wesleyan University senior tennis player Ryan McCarty was named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District men’s at-large team that was announced on Thursday (May 16).  He was voted to the District 6 All-District team in the college division, which is made up of schools located in Kansas, Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Nebraska Wesleyan got back to .500 in Great Plains Athletic Conference play with a 7-2 victory over Concordia University in men's tennis action on Tuesday (Apr. 16) at the Nebraska Tennis Center in Lincoln.  NWU is now 3-15 overall and 2-2 in GPAC play.
