NWU Ties Sioux Falls in GPAC Soccer Opener

The Nebraska Wesleyan University men's soccer team opened Great Plains Athletic Conference play on Saturday night (Sept. 19) as they hosted the University of Sioux Falls. The well played match ended with neither team scoring as the game ended in a 0-0 tie in double overtime.

Nebraska Wesleyan now has a 3-1-2 overall record and a 0-0-1 GPAC record, while Sioux Falls is now 2-4-1 and 1-0-1.

The Prairie Wolves managed just three shots on goal and 10 total shots, while Sioux Falls had two shots on goal and 10 total shots as well.

Nebraska Wesleyan will be back in action on Tuesday (Sept. 22) when they travel to Blair, Neb., to face Dana College.
