The final goal of the day was by Seth Neben in the 21st minute off an assist from Green.

Morningside did manage to score a goal in the 69th minute to end the NWU streak of shutouts in GPAC play.

Josh Miller had four saves for NWU in goal and then was replaced by Andrew Stothert for the final 35 mintues of action.

The Prairie Wolves had 14 total shots with seven on goal, while Morningside also had seven shots on goal.

NWU will look for its seventh straight GPAC victory when they travel to Seward, Neb., to face Concordia University on Wednesday night (Oct. 22).
