The 2011 All-Independent Men’s Soccer teams were recently announced by the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) and Nebraska Wesleyan had three players recognized. Sophomore Colby Twist was named the AD3I Offensive Player-of-the-Year, while seniors Brad Fullerton and Grant Johannes were also on the All-Independent First-Team.

Three members of the Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s soccer team were named to the 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference that was announced Monday (Nov. 14). Midfielder Brad Fullerton led the NWU honors as he was named to the All-GPAC Second-Team, while Grant Johannes and Colby Twist received All-GPAC honorable mention recognition.

Nebraska Wesleyan ended the 2011 season on a high note as they defeated Briar Cliff 1-0 on Saturday (Oct. 29) in the regular season men's soccer finale in Sioux City, Iowa.

Hastings College proved why they are the No. 3 team in the NAIA and the GPAC regular season champion as they downed Nebraska Wesleyan, 4-0, in men's soccer action on Senior Night (Oct. 26) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Morningside scored five unanswered goals as they raced out to a four goal lead and held on for a 5-3 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in GPAC men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 22) at Abel Stadium.

Nebraska Wesleyan senior forward Brad Fullerton has been named the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) men’s soccer Player-of-the-Week.

Alex Thorson scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Nebraska Wesleyan to a 2-1 victory over Mount Marty College in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Saturday (Oct. 15) in Yankton, S.D.

Nebraska Wesleyan extended its winning streak to three matches as the Prairie Wolves went on the road to defeat Coe College, 3-1, in a NCAA III men's soccer match in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

It was an epic rivalry soccer match between Nebraska Wesleyan and Doane College on Wednesday night (Oct. 5) with the Prairie Wolves coming out on top, 4-3, over the Tigers in GPAC men's soccer action at Abel Stadium.

Colorado College scored with just under two minutes left in the first overtime period as the Tigers defeated Nebraska Wesleyan, 3-2, in men's soccer action on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 25) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Northwestern shutout Nebraska Wesleyan, 1-0, on Wednesday night (Sept. 21) in the Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer opener for both teams in Orange City, Iowa.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team is still looking for their first victory of the season as the Prairie Wolves were shutout, 2-0, by Central College on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 7) in Pella, Iowa.

Nebraska Wesleyan held a halftime lead, but Westminster scored two second half goals, including one in the final minute to earn a 2-1 victory over the Prairie Wolves in a NCAA III men's soccer match on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 4) in Fulton, Mo.

Simpson College came into Abel Stadium on Thursday night (Sept. 1) and shutout Nebraska Wesleyan, 4-0, in the 2011 season opener for the Prairie Wolves men's soccer team. It was also the debut of new head coach Sean Steele.

Nicole Dillenburg scored two goals to start the second half as Simpson College rallied from a 1-0 deficit to earn a 3-1 win in the season opening soccer match for the Nebraska Wesleyan University women on Thursday night (Sept. 1) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has released its 2011 Preseason Soccer Coaches’ polls for both the men and the women.

Sean Steele has been hired as the new head soccer coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Steele will be the head coach of both the men’s and women’s programs.
