Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s soccer players Brad Fullerton and Sean Norris have been named to the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) 2010 All-Independent men’s soccer team. Fullerton was named to the First-Team, while Norris was selected to the Second-Team.

November 16

Five members of the Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s soccer team were named to the 2010 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer All-Conference that was announced Tuesday (Nov. 16). Midfielder Brad Fullerton was named to the All-GPAC Second-Team, while Sean Norris, AJ Johnson, Grant Johannes and Colby Twist received All-GPAC honorable mention recognition.

Former Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s soccer player Josh Miller was signed today (Nov. 2) by the Omaha Vipers. He was one of three players from a group of six that were invited to camp from tryouts to make the team.

Marcus Weiss scored a goal during the 67th minute to break open a tie match and that goal would prove to be the game-winner as Nebraska Wesleyan held on for the 3-2 victory over Dakota Wesleyan in GPAC men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 30) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Brad Fullerton scored the first and last goal of the match to give Nebraska Wesleyan a 3-1 victory over Midland University in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 26) in Fremont, Neb.

Briar Cliff scored two second half goals and held Nebraska Wesleyan out of the goal as the Chargers defeated the Prairie Wolves, 2-0, in GPAC men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 16) in Sioux City, Iowa.

Concordia jumped ahead early with two first half goals and held on for a 3-1 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action Tuesday night (Oct. 5) in Seward, Neb.

Grant Johannes scored a goal in the first minute of the match to give Nebraska Wesleyan the early lead and they would hold on to get the 3-1 victory over Mount Marty College on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 2) in GPAC men's soccer action in Yankton, S.D.

Doane College scored three goals in a span of 10 minutes in the second half to pull away for a 4-2 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Wednesday (Sept. 29) in Crete, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan and Dordt each scored one goal but that was all that each team could get in 110 minutes of action as the Prairie Wolves and Defenders tied 1-1 in GPAC men's soccer action on Saturday night (Sept. 25) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Hastings College, ranked No. 4 in the NAIA, had 35 total shots in an impressive 4-0 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action on Wednesday night (Sept. 22) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln.

Colby Twist scored a goal just 1:43 into the match and that would be all Nebraska Wesleyan would need as the Prairie Wolves defeated Morningside College, 2-0, in men's soccer action on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 19) at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.

September 18

Coe College came into Abel Stadium and handed Nebraska Wesleyan a 2-1 loss on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 18) in NCAA Division III men's soccer action. The loss drops the Prairie Wolves to 1-5 overall after six nonconference matches.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team earned a hard fought 1-0 victory over Westminster College on Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 14) to pick up their first victory of the season. The match was played at a neutral site with the two teams meeting in Overland Park, Kan.

Nebraska Wesleyan looked poised for an upset and to get their first victory of the season, but a goal in the final five minutes allowed 7th-ranked Macalester College to rally back to get the 2-1 victory in men's soccer action on Friday (Sept. 10) in St. Paul, Minn.

Central College scored two first half goals and kept Nebraska Wesleyan out of the goal as the Dutch ruined the home opener for the Prairie Wolves with a 2-0 win in men's soccer action on Monday afternoon (Sept. 6) at Abel Stadium.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team opened the 2010 season on the road at Simpson College on Wednesday night (Sept. 1) and fell, 3-1, to the Storm in a NCAA Division III match played in Indianola, Iowa.

August 11

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has released its 2010 Preseason Soccer Coaches’ polls for both the men and the women. The Nebraska Wesleyan men were picked to finish eighth, while the NWU women were picked to finish tenth. Hastings College was the coaches’ choice to win the men's championship, while Dakota Wesleyan University was picked as the women's favorite.

Nebraska Wesleyan University head men’s soccer coach Mike Lynch has released the names of 11 student-athletes who intend to play soccer and study at Nebraska Wesleyan starting this fall. The list includes eight players from Nebraska, and one each from Kansas, South Dakota and Ohio.
