Concordia Beats NWU, 3-1, in Men's Soccer

Concordia jumped ahead early with two first half goals and held on for a 3-1 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan in Great Plains Athletic Conference men's soccer action Tuesday night (Oct. 5) in Seward, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan was out shot, 22-9, in the match as the Prairie Wolves had just four total shots on goal. The Bulldogs scored two goals in the first half to lead 2-0 at halftime. They added their final goal of the match in the final minute of the game.

Brad Fullerton was the lone Prairie Wolves player to find the back of the net as he scored at the 83:12 mark in the second half, but it was a little too late.

Nebraska Wesleyan falls to 3-8-1 overall and falls below .500 in conference play at 2-3-1.
