Drew Taylor struggled on day three of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships as he shot a +7 (79) to drop down into a tie for 12th overall.

Taylor is in a tie with seven other golfers with a three-day total of 221 (+5) for the tournament. He was tied for second heading into Thursday's play but had his highest round of the tournament.

The Millard North H.S., graduate shot even par 72 on Tuesday, had a -2 70 yesterday then came back with the 79 today.

The final round of the 2012 NCAA III Men's Golf Championships will be Friday at Las Colinas Course at Mission Hills Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
