Nebraska Wesleyan University senior men’s golfer Patrick Hanzel has been named to the 2011 PING All-American team for NCAA Division III. Hanzel was named to the Division III PING All-America Third Team.

Four NWU Men's Golfers Earn All-GPAC Honors

Great Plains Athletic Conference champions Nebraska Wesleyan University placed four golfers on the 2010-11 GPAC Men’s Golf All-Conference team that was announced on Thursday (May 12). Patrick Hanzel headlines the list of NWU golfers as he was named the 2011 GPAC Men’s Golfer of the Year. Head Coach Brett Balak was named the GPAC Coach-of-the-Year.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf team is competing this week at the NCAA III Championships in Greensboro, N.C. Follow the Prairie Wolves with Live Results throughout the tournament. Wesleyan Wins Third Straight GPAC Golf Title

For the third consecutive season and the ninth time in 11 years, Nebraska Wesleyan has won the Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship. The Prairie Wolves shot a round of 306 on Monday (May 2) at Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa to clinch the title.

Golfers Extend Lead to 26 Strokes at GPAC Championships

Nebraska Wesleyan a round of 300 on Monday (Apr. 11) at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course at the third GPAC Qualifier to extend their lead to 26 strokes at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's golf championships. NWU now has a three-round total of 883 to lead Sioux Falls at 909. The final GPAC Qualifier will be played May 2 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Men's Golfers Win Team Title at BVU Invite

Nebraska Wesleyan tied its season low round by firing a 291 on the second day to earn a six stroke victory at the Buena Vista Spring Invitational (Apr. 8-9) at Lake Creek Country Club in Storm Lake, Iowa. NWU finished with a total of 590 to defeat Central College by six.
