Three members of the Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s golf team were named to the 2009-10 Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s golf All-GPAC team that was recently announced. Junior Patrick Hanzel, senior Nate Jaeger and junior Kyle Jaacks were all on the All-GPAC team.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf team shot a team score of 300 on the second day of the Buena Vista Spring Invitational to finish with a two-day total of 615 as the Prairie Wolves placed fourth in the 22-team field.

NWU Pulls Within Eight at GPAC Men's Golf

Nebraska Wesleyan shot the lowest team score of the day with a 310 to climb within eight strokes of team leader Morningside College after completion of the third round of the GPAC Championships as the GPAC Qualifier #3 was played at Firethorn Golf Course in Lincoln on Monday (April 11). NWU is now second overall at 935, while Morningside sits at 927.

Men's Golf Wins Wartburg Invite

Nebraska Wesleyan shot a day two total of 292 to overcome a one shot deficit and defeat Central College by two strokes to win the team title at the Wartburg Invite held April 10-11 in Waverly, Iowa. The Prairie Wolves had a two-day total of 587 to win the 21-team tournament.

Nebraska Wesleyan held the lead after day one, but couldn't hold on Saturday (Apr. 3) on the second day of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal, Ill. The Prairie Wolves finished third in the 23 team field with a team score of 618.
