The Nebraska Wesleyan men’s golf team saved their best round for the final day as the Prairie Wolves shot a team score of 301 to finish in 20th place at the 2008 NCAA Division III Championships at Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Ga.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men’s golf team fell back six spots into 21st place and had its worst day of the tournament as the Prairie Wolves battled rainy conditions on Thursday (May 15) in the NCAA Division III Championships at Chateau Elan Resort and the Chateau Course in Braselton, Ga.

Every one of the Nebraska Wesleyan golfers improved their score from day one as the Prairie Wolves moved up five spots to 15th place at the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Ga.

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf team shot a first day team score of 320 (+36) to tie for 20th place after day one of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Ga. The Prairie Wolves competed on the Woodlands Course on Tuesday (May 13).

Nebraska Wesleyan freshman Patrick Hanzel was named to GPAC Men's Golf All-Conference team that was released on Monday (May 12). Hanzel was the only NWU player to be named to 17-member All-Conference team.

Nebraska Wesleyan University was among the 35 teams selected to play in the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships when the field was announced Monday (May 5) by the NCAA-III Men’s Golf Committee.

April 22

Nebraska Wesleyan’s streak of Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s golf championships ended at four as the Prairie Wolves tied for second at the 2008 GPAC Men’s Golf Championships held at Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa on April 21-22. NWU finished with a team score of 613, to tie for second with Dordt College. Dakota Wesleyan University won the 2008 GPAC Championship with a total of 602.

February 21

The Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s golf team is ranked ninth in the first Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches’ Poll of the spring season that was released on Thursday (Feb. 21).

July 26

Head Coach Brett Balak released the names of seven recruits who have said they’ll enroll at Nebraska Wesleyan University and play men’s golf.
