Nebraska Wesleyan University senior Kyle Jaacks is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for the week of April 11-17.

Jaacks (Lincoln, Neb.) was the medalist at the GPAC Qualifier #3 that was held at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln on April 11. He shot an 18-hole total of 71 (35-36) for the Prairie Wolves who had a team score of 300.

With their round of 300, Nebraska Wesleyan extended their team lead out to 26 strokes with 54 of the 72 holes completed for the 2010-11 GPAC Championships.

Jaacks, a graduate of Lincoln Southwest H.S., now is in sixth place individually in the GPAC Championship standings. Jaacks now has a three-day total of 227 (+13) and is two strokes behind the fifth place golfer.

The top 10 placers at the GPAC Championships earn All-GPAC honors. Jaacks tied for ninth at the 2009-10 GPAC Championships.
