Nebraska Wesleyan shot a team score of 321 on day two of the Gordin Classic to finish with a two-round score of 619 and place 12th at the 20th Annual Greensboro-Gordin Classic at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
The Prairie Wolves were in sixth place after Sunday's action where they shot a 298, but fell back to 12th after their 321 on Monday.
Senior Patrick Hanzel continued his solid play as he shot a 147 (73-74)to tie for 7th individually.
The Gordin Classic has 12 of the top 20 teams in NCAA Division III competing in the field of 18 teams. Gradover Resort is also the host of the 2011 NCAA Division III Championships this upcoming May.
For Nebraska Wesleyan after Hanzel's 147, the next closest golfer was Geoff Oliphant who had a 158 (75-83). After shooting a 71 on Sunday, Ryan Boyer had an 89 on Sunday to finish tied for 65th at 160. Kyle Jaacks shot 162 (79-83) to round out the NWU scoring, while Rory Doll had a 166 (85-81) as the fifth NWU golfer.
Guilford College was the team champion with a score of 591.
