2011: Was an All-Conference runner after finishing 10th at the GPAC Championships … led NWU to the GPAC team title … also earned All-Central Region recognition helping NWU win the NCAA Regional Championship … named CoSIDA Academic All-America for cross country/track & field … competed in his first NCAA III Championships and placed 194th overall … ran in all six varsity races on the season … was a USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete … also a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete for second straight season.
2010: Had a breakout first season with the NWU cross country team after competing in soccer the previous fall … competed in four varsity races on the season … was named the All-Independent Rookie of the Year and the Second-Team All-Independent team … just missed finishing in the top 25 at the GPAC Championships by crossing the line in 26th place … had a season-best time of 26:55.6 at the Jim Drews Invitational … was named a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

In High School: Was a three sport varsity athlete at Lincoln Southeast competing in cross country, swimming and soccer … placed fifth at the Class A State Cross Country Championships as a senior … was named Super State in cross country … also a state qualifier in swimming and was honorable mention All-State in soccer.
