November 12

Nebraska Wesleyan junior cross country runner Johnny Rutford was selected to compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships that will be held Nov. 17 at the LaVern Gibson Course in Terra Haute, Ind. The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology will host the championships with the men's race to begin at 11 a.m. ET.

November 3

The Nebraska Wesleyan University cross country teams both placed in the top three at the 2012 Great Plains Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships that were held Saturday (Nov. 3) at Adams Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, S.D. The NWU women tied for 2nd, while the Prairie Wolves men were third.

October 13

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's cross country teams weathered muddy conditions to finish 15th and 10th respectively at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational Saturday morning (Oct. 13) in West Salem, Wisconsin.

September 15

Nebraska Wesleyan opened the 2012 cross country season on Saturday (Sept. 15) by competing in the 22nd annual Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational at Pioneers Park.

September 12

The 22nd Annual Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational Cross Country meet is set for Saturday morning (Sept. 15) at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Neb. The meet is co-hosted by Nebraka Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska. The women’s race will start at 10 a.m., followed by the men’s race at 10:45.

July 24

Nebraska Wesleyan University director of track & field/cross country Ted Bulling and throws coach Derek Frese will both be featured clinicians at the Nebraska Coaches Association Multi-Sports Clinic that is being held July 24-26 at Lincoln North Star High School.
