November 19

Nebraska Wesleyan was represented well at the 2011 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 18) at Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis. The NWU women were 18th in the team standings while the men finished 21st as a team.

November 12

The Nebraska Wesleyan men's cross country team won the NCAA III Central Region Championship on Saturday (Nov. 12) to advance to the NCAA III Cross Country Championships for the 15th consecutive season.

November 10

Nebraska Wesleyan dominated the 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference teams. Hannah Kinberg was named the 2011 Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Year to headline the women’s team, while NWU co-coaches Ted Bulling and Ann Ringlein were the Women’s Coaches-of-the-Year. Five NWU women were All-GPAC, while eight Prairie Wolves were All-GPAC on the men’s side.

Nebraska Wesleyan easily outdistanced the competition and swept both the women's and men's 2011 GPAC Cross Country Championship titles on Saturday (Nov. 5) at Pioneers Park in Lincoln.

November 2

The 2011 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Cross Country Championships are this Saturday (Nov. 5) at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Neb. The meet, hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University, will begin at 10:00 am with the JV race. The women’s 5K race will start at 10:45 am, with the men’s 8k race to begin at 11:30.

Nebraska Wesleyan University swept this week’s Great Plains Athletic Conference cross country honors as seniors Hannah Kinberg and Michael Rathje were named the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Cross Country Runners-of-the-Week for the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

September 30

The Nebraska Wesleyan men’s cross country team had a great performance at the 38th Annual Lehigh University Paul Short Run on Friday (Sept. 30) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

September 28

Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s cross country teams remain ranked in the third NCAA Division III poll that was released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday (Sept. 28). The NWU women are ranked No. 15, while the Nebraska Wesleyan men are No. 23.

September 17

It was a successful open to the 2011 cross country season for Nebraska Wesleyan as the Prairie Wolves men won the college division and the women finished third at the 22nd Annual Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational held Saturday morning (Sept. 17) at Pioneers Park in Lincoln.

August 24

Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s cross country teams were ranked in the preseason NCAA Division III poll that was compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The NWU women are ranked in the top ten at No. 10, while the Prairie Wolves men come in at No. 23.
