Nebraska Wesleyan cross country runners performed very well on the highest stage as the NWU women placed 13th and the men 24th at the NCAA III Cross Country Championships held Saturday (Nov. 20) at Max Cross Country Course in Waverly, Iowa.
The Nebraska Wesleyan women placed sixth, and the men took eighth as the NWU cross country teams competed at the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational on Saturday (Oct. 16) at Maple Grove Country Club in West Salem, Wis.
The Nebraska Wesleyan cross country teams had good showings at the 38th Annual Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational in Chicago, Ill., on Oct. 2. The NWU women placed ninth as a team, while the men were 17th.
The Nebraska Wesleyan University cross country teams got off to an outstanding start to the 2010 season at the Woody Greeno Invitational on Saturday (Sept. 18) at Pioneers Park in Lincoln, Neb. The NWU women were the college division champions while the men place third.
Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s cross country teams were ranked in the preseason NCAA Division III Central Region poll that was compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
