Both the Nebraska Wesleyan University women’s and men’s cross country teams were ranked in the preseason NCAA Division III Central Region poll that was compiled by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Nebraska Wesleyan University Cross Country and Track & Field athlete Brian Copley was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America® Men’s Track & Cross Country Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Copley was named to the Academic All-America® First-Team in the college division.
Nebraska Wesleyan University cross country athlete Logan Watley was one of the 29 men in the nation in all divisions selected to receive a $7,500 postgraduate scholarship from the NCAA for the fall 2009 sports season.
