Nebraska Wesleyan built up a 15-point first half lead but couldn’t hold on as Briar Cliff University rallied back to earn a 71-64 victory over the Prairie Wolves in GPAC men’s basketball action on Wednesday (Nov. 28) in Sioux City, Iowa.

Nebraska Wesleyan closed out the 24th Annual Snyder Men’s Basketball Classic with a 69-61 victory over Austin College on Saturday night (Nov. 24) to finish 2-0 for the weekend and improve to 4-1 overall on the season.

Bradley Banks In Game-Winner in Overtime

Trailing by two points with under eight seconds left in overtime Jonah Bradley grabbed a rebound off a missed free throw, drove the length off the floor, pulled up from 3-point range and banked in the game-winner to give Nebraska Wesleyan a thrilling 78-77 overtime win over Simpson College on the first night of the 24th Annual Snyder Classic on Friday night (Nov. 23) in Lincoln, Neb.

24th Annual Snyder Classic To Be Held Nov. 23-24

The 24th Annual Snyder Men's Basketball Classic takes place this weekend (Nov. 23-24) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln, Neb. Participating in this years classic will be Nebraska Wesleyan University, Washington University (Mo.), Austin College and Simpson College.

Concordia Overcomes Double Digit Lead in 68-65 Win

Concordia outscored Nebraska Wesleyan by 17 points at the free throw line as the Bulldogs overcame a double digit second half lead to down the Prairie Wolves, 68-65, in the home opener for NWU on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at Snyder Arena.

2-0 Start for the Prairie Wolves

Nebraska Wesleyan got the 2012-13 season off to a great start by posting two convincing victories at the River Forest Classic in River Forest, Illinois over the weekend. NWU downed Concordia-Chicago, 79-50, in the opener Friday night (Nov. 16) then rolled past the host school, Dominican University, 68-45 on Saturday afternoon.
