Jonah Bradley scored a career-high 24 points to lead Nebraska Wesleyan to a 77-67 victory over Concordia University on Wednesday night (Jan. 30) in GPAC men's basketball action in Seward, Neb.

With the win the Prairie Wolves improve to 10-11 overall and 5-11 in GPAC standings, while Concordia drops its 13th straight conference game.

Bradley scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the second half as the Prairie Wolves overcame a 33-31 halftime deficit. Bradley went 8-9 at the free throw line and made 4-5 from 3-point land to pace the Prairie Wolves.

The Bulldogs looked poised to break their losing streak in the first half as they shot 50.0 percent and at one point had an 11-point lead.

Eric Jackson hit back-to-back 3-pointers and a field goal for eight straight points and his basket at the 9:38 mark gave NWU their first lead of the second half and they never trailed again.

The Prairie Wolves shot 48.2 percent from the floor as a team and went 14-16 at the free throw line for one of their best performances of the night.

Besides Bradley's 24 points, Jackson scored 11 points and Sass Karemae tied his career-high with 10 points.

Beau Smith led the Bulldogs with 18 points, while Joel Haywood scored 16.

NWU will go for their third straight victory on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Sioux City, Iowa for a big game at Morningside College. Morningside is currently one spot ahead of NWU in the league standings.
