Nebraska Wesleyan went 36-48 from the free throw line and scored 53 points in the second half to defeat Dana College, 82-73, in Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s basketball action on Wednesday night (Dec. 2) on “Blackout Night” at Snyder Arena.

Blackout Night Set for Dec. 2nd

The Nebraska Wesleyan Athletic Department has announced that the Dec. 2^nd home men’s basketball game against Dana College will be a “Blackout Night” at Snyder Arena as all fans are encouraged to wear black to support the Prairie Wolves. The game between the Prairie Wolves and Bulldogs will tip-off at 7:30 pm at Snyder Arena in Lincoln, Neb.

Men Picked 9th in GPAC Basketball Poll

The Nebraska Wesleyan University basketball team was picked to finish ninth in the 2009-10 preseason GPAC Coaches' poll that was released on Tuesday (Oct. 14). The poll was voted on by all 12 coaches with points awarded on a 12-1 basis and coaches could not vote for their own team.
