Two members of the Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s basketball team were named to the All-Independent Men’s Basketball teams announced on March 17 by the Association of Division III Independents. Senior Marcus Minzel was named to the All-Independent Second-Team and sophomore Dylan Aylward was selected to the Third-Team.
Two members of the Nebraska Wesleyan University men’s basketball team received All-GPAC honors on Wednesday (Mar. 5) when the Hauff Mid-America Sports/Great Plains Athletic Conference all-conference teams were announced. Senior Marcus Minzel and sophomore Dylan Aylward received All-GPAC honorable mention recognition.
The official pairings for the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) West Region men’s basketball tournament were released Monday morning. The tournament, hosted by Chapman University in Orange, California, will be played Feb. 29th and March 1.
Nebraska Wesleyan University senior guard Marcus Minzel scored a team-high 15 points in his last game at Snyder Arena as the Prairie Wolves held off Concordia University, 63-56, on Tuesday night (Feb. 12) in the final regular season home game of the 2007-08 season. NWU improves to 13-9 overall and 7-8 in the GPAC and now has won back-to-back conference games for the first time this season.
