Nebraska Wesleyan University junior guard Eric Jackson was named to the First-Team of the All-Independent men’s basketball team that was announced by the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I). Juniors Trevor Johnson and Tim Schweitzer were named to the All-Independent Second-Team.

Nebraska Wesleyan University had three players recognized by the Great Plains Athletic Conference on Wednesday (Feb. 27) when the 2012-13 Men’s Basketball All-GPAC team’s were announced. Junior guard Eric Jackson was named Second-Team All-GPAC with junior forwards Trevor Johnson and Tim Schweitzer earning All-GPAC honorable mention.

Nebraska Wesleyan University junior Trevor Johnson was selected to the Third-Team of the 2013 Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America® College Division Men’s Basketball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Director’s of America (CoSIDA).

Nebraska Wesleyan men's basketball will not make the Great Plains Athletic Conference postseason tournament as they ended up ninth in the GPAC standings after Dakota Wesleyan University defeated Briar Cliff University late Saturday night to seal the Prairie Wolves fate.

Nebraska Wesleyan looked poised to extend their winning streak to three games and climb one game closer to the top eight in the league standings, but Morningside College overcame a 12-point halftime deficit and outscored the Prairie Wolves by 23 points in the second half for a 72-61 victory on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 2) in Sioux City, Iowa.

Jonah Bradley scored a career-high 24 points to lead Nebraska Wesleyan to a 77-67 victory over Concordia University on Wednesday night (Jan. 30) in GPAC men's basketball action in Seward, Neb.

James Parrott had a huge night for Midland University scoring 27 points to lead the Warriors to a 67-52 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University in GPAC men's basketball action on Wednesday night (Jan. 23) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

12th-ranked Dordt College opened the second half on a 20-4 run and held Nebraska Wesleyan without a field goal for the first nine minutes of the second half as the Defenders rolled past the Prairie Wolves, 97-68, in GPAC men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 19) in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Nebraska Wesleyan trailed by three points with the ball and 32 seconds remaining in the game, but a turnover on a pass underneath the basket gave Briar Cliff the basketball and they hit 3-4 free throws in the final 12 seconds to seal a 66-62 victory over the Prairie Wolves in GPAC men's basketball action on Wednesday night (Jan. 16) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

7th-ranked Northwestern College built up a double digit lead right before halftime and never let Nebraska Wesleyan back within single digits as the Red Raiders came to Lincoln and defeated the Prairie Wolves 79-64 in GPAC men's basketball action on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 12) at Snyder Arena.

For the second straight game, the Nebraska Wesleyan men's basketball team was not able to close out a game despite holding a double-digit second half lead as #16 Doane College rallied back to defeat the Prairie Wolves, 68-63, in GPAC men's basketball action in Crete, Neb.

Nebraska Wesleyan overcame a 10-point halftime deficit and went on a 13-0 run in the second half to earn a 61-56 victory over Morningside College in GPAC men’s basketball action on Wednesday (Jan. 2) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

Nebraska Wesleyan finished its non-conference portion of the schedule with a perfect 5-0 record as the Prairie Wolves closed out non-conference play with a 64-51 victory over Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 29) in Monmouth, Ill.

Nebraska Wesleyan picked up their first win over Mount Marty in Yankton, S.D., since 2003 as the Prairie Wolves used a strong second half to earn a 63-52 victory over the Lancers in GPAC men's basketball action on Saturday (Dec. 15) in Yankton, S.D.

Trailing by just one point at halftime, Nebraska Wesleyan made just one field goal and scored only four points in the first 13:20 of the second half as Midland was able to pull away and hold on for the 56-47 victory in GPAC men's basketball action on Wednesday (Dec. 12) in Fremont, Neb.
