Forefeit Policies and Procedures
- Game time is forfeit time. The minimum
number of players must be on-site and signed in at game
time. See individual sport rules for minimum number.
- If a team cannot avoid forfeiting a contest,
common courtesy would require the Director of Intramural
Sports and the opponent to be notified prior to the playing
time of the contest.
- If both teams fail to have the minimum
number of players required, then a double forfeit is called.
- Two forfeits by any one team during league
play will eliminate that team from the league and tournament.
- Teams have the option to reschedule by
contacting the Director of Intramural Sports no less than
two business days before the scheduled contest
