Stacy Graham is in her fifth year as head
women’s golf coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
In 2005-06, the NWU women qualified for the
NAIA Region III Championships after earning a fifth place
finish at the GPAC Championships. The Prairie Wolves made
a run at the Region III title and a berth in the NAIA Championships,
but finished a mere seven strokes behind the winning team.
Graham, then Stacy Smith, completed her collegiate
playing career in 2003 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
She was ranked second on her team for stroke average and played
in every tournament as a junior and senior, winning two meets
as a junior, including the Hastings College Invitational and
the Chadron State College Dual.
A three-time National Golf Coaches Association
All-Scholar, Graham earned four letters and was a member of
the team’s top five from her sophomore year on. As a
senior, her stroke average dropped to a career-best 83.1.
Graham graduated magna cum laude from UNK
with a degree in business administration. She currently works
full-time in Lincoln as an accounting supervisor for Laird Technologies.
Graham and her husband, Chris, reside in Lincoln. Both are
natives of Scottsbluff, Neb.
Philosophy Statement
The Nebraska Wesleyan women’s golf program
is designed for athletes who love the game of golf. We provide
the opportunity for each player to improve her game and reach
her goals in a comfortable environment. In addition, each
player will see the competitive aspect of collegiate golf
and will be challenged to build her own success.
