2011: Worked his way into the running back rotation to earn a letter in his first season … played the final seven games of the season, was listed as starter at running back in three of those games … scored his first collegiate rushing touchdown against Dordt on Oct. 15 … also caught six passes out of the backfield.

 In High School: A four-year starter in football at Yutan High School … was a First-Team All-District and First-Team All-Conference selection at running back … named Second-Team All-Area as a sophomore … a three-time Academic All-State selection … led the Chieftains to two state football playoff appearances … a four-year letterwinner in track & field and two-time state qualifier … also earned two letters in wrestling.
