The Nebraska Wesleyan University football hits the road for the final time this season as they prepare for their rival Doane College in a Great Plains Athletic Conference matchup. This will be the 95th meeting between the two rival schools in football. Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Tigers is set for 1 p.m., at Simon Field in Crete, Neb.

NWU (5-3, 5-3 GPAC) will try to ride its momentum it gained in last week’s come from behind 26-13 victory on homecoming over Midland Lutheran College. The Prairie Wolves trailed by one point with under one minute to play, but scored two touchdowns in the final 30 seconds.
Doane (2-7, 2-6 GPAC) is reeling a bit after its 78-14 loss to #4 Morningside College last Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa. The Tigers did score on two pass plays of over 75 yards, but trailed 58-14 at halftime. This will be the final home game of the season for Doane, who picked up a 24-12 victory over Dordt in their last home game.
