Daktronics-NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes have been named for 2005 in football. The award is given to juniors and seniors who have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.50 or higher. Nebraska Wesleyan University led the Great Plains Athletic Conference and tied for second nationally with nine honorees. Thies took over the career lead at Nebraska Wesleyan, averaging 19.1 (325 yards on 17 returns), while Aldrich finished his career fourth all-time at NWU with an average of 14.4 (476 yards on 33 punt
