Nebraska Wesleyan will go for its third straight victory this Saturday (Oct. 29) when they host Briar Cliff University in GPAC football action. Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Chargers is set for 1 pm at Abel Stadium in Lincoln, Neb.
NWU has improved to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the GPAC by winning its last two games over Dordt and Concordia. The Prairie Wolves are in a tie for fifth in the GPAC standings and could move up to fourth with a win on Saturday to propel them into the month of November.
Briar Cliff has lost two straight games to drop to 2-6 overall and 1-5 in GPAC play. The Chargers lone conference win was a 16-10 overtime win over Dordt on Oct. 1. BCU has not won a road game during the 2011 season.
