Wolves and Bulldogs to Tangle in Seward on Saturday

October 19, 2011

Nebraska Wesleyan will look to even its GPAC record at 3-3 this Saturday (Oct. 22) when they travel down the road to Seward to face Concordia University in a Great Plains Athletic Conference football matchup. Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Bulldogs is set for 1 p.m., at Bulldog Stadium in Seward, Neb.

NWU goes for its second straight victory after their 45-19 win over Dordt College last Saturday. The Prairie Wolves improved to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the GPAC as they rushed for a season-high 257 yards in the win.

Concordia had their four-game winning streak snapped last Saturday with a 38-10 loss at Northwestern. The Bulldogs are 4-3 overall and 3-2 in GPAC and have won all three games at home this season.

The Prairie Wolves are looking to avenge last year's 3-0 loss that opened the 2010 season.
