Nebraska Wesleyan University sophomore placekicker Zach Egger is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Special Team's Player-of-the-Week.
Egger (Wood River, Neb.) was a perfect 4-4 on PATs and also converted 2-3 field goals in the Prairie Wolves 34-0 victory over Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
His 46-yard field goal was a career long. For his career, he is now 5-9 on field goals and 23-38 on PATs.
NWU improved to 1-3 on the season with the win over Dordt. The Prairie Wolves have a bye this Saturday (Oct. 4) to prepare for the Oct. 11 contest versus Dana College for homecoming.
