Senior Day Battle of the Wesleyan's

It will be a GPAC football battle of the Wesleyan's on Saturday (Nov. 3) as the Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairie Wolves host the Dakota Wesleyan University Tigers in the final home game for NWU at Abel Stadium in Lincoln. Kickoff for the Senior Day game between the Prairie Wolves and Tigers is set for 1 pm.

Nebraska Wesleyan (4-4, 3-4 GPAC) has extended their winning streak to three games as they have won all three games since their bye week to even their overall record at 4-4. The Prairie Wolves will try to even their conference record this Saturday with a win over the Tigers.

13 seniors will be playing their final game at Abel Stadium for Nebraska Wesleyan. A ceremony honoring the seniors and their parents will take place before kickoff.

Dakota Wesleyan (5-3, 4-3) dropped out of the NAIA rankings this week as they had their playoff hopes dashed with a 41-13 loss to Northwestern last week. The Tigers had been ranked as high as No. 19 this season. DWU features one of the top running backs in the NAIA, who will be facing a Nebraska Wesleyan defense that ranks second in the NAIA in rushing defense.
